— On the Brassard

Drawn for a client who works fourteen-hour days and needed a frame that forgot it was there.

The first Brassard was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, works fourteen-hour days and needed a frame that forgot it was there. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.

The result favours the rectangular line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in slate titanium, 13g finished, and fitted with a flush titanium hinge.
