Horn rims set with platinum pins, cut to order after a first sketch is approved by hand. Hand-finished in the studio and dimensioned to the wearer at fitting.
Every Castellane is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Castellane was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted metal that would never need replating. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the rectangular line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in buffalo horn, 27g finished, and fitted with a platinum-pinned horn hinge.
