A fine round wire frame in gold-filled wire, built to the client's own facial measurements. Hand-finished in the studio and dimensioned to the wearer at fitting.
Every Ferrand is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Ferrand was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, asked for something that would outlast the prescription inside it. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the round line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in solid 14k gold-filled, 15g finished, and fitted with a soldered gold-fill hinge.
