A translucent crystal acetate over a titanium skeleton, made for a client who wanted lightness to show. Hand-finished in the studio and dimensioned to the wearer at fitting.
Every Lucerna is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Lucerna was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted the lightness of the frame to actually be visible. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the round line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in crystal acetate, 16g finished, and fitted with a flush titanium hinge.
