Every Solveig is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Solveig was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted a frame made from the studio's own history. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the cateye line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in reclaimed acetate, 20g finished, and fitted with a 7-barrel brass hinge.
