Every Valois is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Valois was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted the frame he'd worn every summer since university. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the aviator line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in tortoise, 26g finished, and fitted with a 5-barrel steel hinge.
