A squared metal sunglass with a flat mineral lens. No branding, inside or out. Hand-finished in the studio and dimensioned to the wearer at fitting.
Every Cassian is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Cassian was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted nothing on the frame that said who made it. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the rectangular line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in brushed gunmetal, 23g finished, and fitted with a riveted steel hinge.
