A browline sunglass in deep ink tortoise, heavier at the top and bare underneath. Hand-finished in the studio and dimensioned to the wearer at fitting.
Every Ondine is dimensioned to the wearer at the second sitting. The figures here describe the base draft, before fitting.
The first Ondine was cut for a client who, in the studio's notes, wanted the weight of the frame to sit where the brow does. We built the opposite of what he'd worn before.
The result favours the browline line the studio keeps returning to: heavier where the eye expects weight, and light everywhere the skin meets the frame. It is cut in ink tortoise, 24g finished, and fitted with a core-wire titanium hinge.
